Salons & spas · Nationwide
The call that came in mid-color just booked itself.
Around a third of salon calls go unanswered, and four out of five of those land during opening hours — while whoever would answer is with a client. Zenith texts them back in less than 30 seconds, quotes from your own price list, and books them in.
- Zenith at 11:04: Hi, this is the front desk at Willow Lane. Sorry we missed you, everyone's with a client right now. What were you after?
- Customer at 11:05: how much is a root touch up
- Zenith at 11:05: A root touch-up starts at $71. If you're going more than a couple of shades lighter, your stylist confirms the price on the day since it depends on your hair.
- Customer at 11:07: ok can i get in this week
- Zenith at 11:07: We have Thursday at 2pm or Friday at 10:30am. Grab whichever suits: willowlane.com/book
Four minutes. Both stylists were with clients the whole time.
Why the phone is the thing that gets dropped
- Your busiest hours on the floor are your busiest hours on the phone.
- A caller who reaches voicemail books with the salon down the road.
- The front desk is with a client, or there isn't one at all.
- A no-show costs a chair you had already blocked out.
What callers actually want
Booking, price and moving an appointment are nearly all of it. Zenith handles those from what you have loaded and passes you anything it should not answer.
- Book a job
New appointments. It offers your open slots and sends the booking page.
- Price question
Cuts, color, extensions. It quotes from your price list and never invents a number.
- Reschedule
Moving or cancelling. It frees the chair and tells you, so the slot can be filled.
- Hours
Late nights, Sundays, holiday closures — answered the same way every time.
- Service area
Whether you do a treatment at all, before somebody books the wrong thing.
Multiple stylists and multiple chairs are supported under one account, so a caller is booked against real availability rather than a guess. We work with businesses anywhere in the US. Zenith is software and messaging, so there is no service radius.
Salons & spas questions we get asked
Will it quote the wrong price for color?
It quotes only what you load into it. For anything that varies — full color, balayage, corrections — it gives your starting price and says the stylist confirms on the day. It never estimates and it never rounds.
Can it cancel and rebook people?
Yes. It moves the appointment, frees the slot and tells you, which is the part that matters — a cancellation nobody hears about is a chair sitting empty.
Does it sound like a robot?
It says up front that it is an assistant, because pretending otherwise goes badly the moment somebody works it out. Past that it is written to sound like your front desk, using your salon's name and your own wording.
15 minutes. Bring your call log.
We'll count what you actually missed last month and tell you what it cost. If it's not worth fixing, we'll say so.
Or go break the demo first. It costs you nothing to test.
